LOCATION: Our office is located in Minnetonka, MN. Candidates must reside in the Twins Cities area and will be required to be in-office 5 days per week. We do offer a flexible work environment, but this role is not hybrid.

Overview
The VP of Development plays a key role in aligning technology initiatives with the company’s goals, collaborating across all levels of the organization to design scalable processes and programs that support RAZR’s continued growth. This role leads the development and execution of the technology roadmap, with a focus on delivering innovative, high-quality products, ensuring data security, improving operational efficiency, and aligning technology strategy with overall business objectives. Combining strategic planning, technical leadership, and cross-functional collaboration, the VP of Development fosters strong internal partnerships and helps position RAZR for long-term success. The ideal candidate stays attuned to emerging technologies and best practices, ensuring the organization remains agile and competitive.

Responsibilities
Develop technical aspects of the company’s strategy to ensure alignment with business goals and be able to clearly communicate that technology vision and strategy along with opportunities and risks
Maintain a consumer-focused outlook, bringing innovative ideas to the product and development teams to deliver industry leading solutions in our markets
Analyze and monitor competing technologies and companies to understand the competitive landscape and evaluate technological advancements to drive continuous product improvement
Partner with other business units to deliver customer solutions through new products, ongoing platform enhancements and tailored solutions, optimizing the profitable use of technology
Review timeframes and budgets, collaborating with the product organization to create timelines for development and deployment of technology services
Define company standards for systems, equipment, software and software development practices
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Development team, ensuring effective management of resources, monitoring key utilization metrics, and driving initiatives that optimize team productivity and overall performance
Ensure that all team processes related to company tools—such as StandOut, Bloom, Kolbe, and the Engagement Management (EM) survey—are effectively implemented across the teams and consistently maintained to support team development and organizational alignment
Study current and new industry trends, technologies, and software development, ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory requirements, laws and standards and that security controls and monitoring processes are best in class
Represent the company at conferences and networking events

Qualifications

Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and meeting financial targets

Excellent written and oral communication skills
Well organized, highly dependable, and efficient
Education & Experience
4-year degree in business, marketing or a related discipline
8-10 years of client relationship management experience with demonstrated advancement
Experience working inside Financial Services; ideally inside banking and payment cards
Experience with loyalty and reward solutions
Experience working with software solutions, products & SDLC practices
Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
