Overview 

The Vice President of Product is responsible for driving the execution of RAZR’s SaaS platform and software solutions. This leader will oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, ensuring that customer needs, business objectives, and technical innovation are translated into a clear product roadmap that delivers measurable value. 

As the senior product leader, the VP of Product partners closely with Product Strategy, Engineering, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Client stakeholders to ensure RAZR builds outstanding customer experiences, delivers against an aggressive roadmap, and continues to evolve as a leader in patient engagement, loyalty marketing, and rewards-based solutions. 

This role provides direct leadership and strategic direction to our small but mighty team of Product Owners and where necessary dives into specific projects alongside this team.  All while remaining closely connected to execution through strong collaboration with RAZR’s Technical Project Managers and agile Development teams. 

Key Responsibilities 

Product Ownership 

  • Champion the long-term product vision for RAZR’s SaaS platform, ensuring alignment with company growth goals and customer needs 

  • Establish and deliver a roadmap that balances innovation, operational priorities, and customer-driven enhancements 

  • Define and communicate product strategy across internal stakeholders, clients, and executive leadership, working closely with Product Strategy  

  • Serve as the executive voice of the product organization, protecting and evolving product positioning 

Roadmap Ownership & Value Delivery 

  • Ensure all work is prioritized to maximize business impact, client value, and platform scalability 

  • Guide product investment decisions and manage trade-offs between cost, schedule, and customer benefit 

  • Drive execution against an aggressive but achievable roadmap in partnership with Engineering leadership 

  • Maintain accountability for successful delivery of new features, integrations, and platform improvements 

Leadership of Product Execution 

  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of Product Owners 

  • Ensure product requirements are clearly defined through strong backlog management, user stories, and outcome-based planning 

  • Promote agile best practices across scrum teams, ensuring teams operate efficiently and deliver consistently 

  • Lead our team of Product Owners to ensure work is always refined ahead of development cycles and when needed jump in and act as a Product Owner helping to review and write stories or documentation 

Cross-Functional Collaboration 

  • Collaborate with internal teams across Product Strategy, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Client Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure product alignment and execution 

  • Maintain a detailed understanding of customer projects, market needs, and future opportunities to inform platform requirements 

  • Act as a key escalation point for complex product decisions, customer commitments, and platform direction 

Platform & Technical Leadership 

  • Provide strategic business direction for platform architecture needs working closely with Engineering on things like data architecture, APIs, integrations, microservices, and data exchanges, etc. 

  • Ensure product solutions align with modern development best practices, security standards, and scalable SaaS principles 

  • Support development of enterprise-ready capabilities including authentication, ETL processes, and third-party system integrations 

  • Champion outstanding user experience design through collaboration with designers and engineering teams 

Qualifications 

  • Proven product leader with a passion for building customer-centric SaaS solutions. 

  • Strong understanding of Agile execution (Scrum/Kanban) and product delivery in fast-paced software environments 

  • Ability to translate business strategy into actionable product direction and technical execution 

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to align executives, technical teams, and non-technical stakeholders 

  • Deep familiarity with modern software development practices including APIs, integrations, and platform scalability 

  • Preferred industry experience in Loyalty Marketing, Banking Rewards, or similar customer-driven solutions 

  • Comfortable managing complexity, change, and competing priorities in a growing organization 

Education & Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, or related software leadership roles 

  • 5+ years leading product teams in Agile SaaS development environments 

  • Experience in enterprise platforms, fintech, or highly technical product ecosystems 

  • Demonstrated success delivering enterprise software products and scaling product organizations 

  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, authentication methods (OAuth, JWT), and security best practices, preferred 

  • Experience with enterprise integrations, ETL workflows, and third-party services 

  • Familiarity with architecture and data modeling 

  • Knowledge of modern SaaS platform development approaches 

  • Experience with legacy platforms that have technical debt that must be managed in a growing ecosystem 

  • Experience in an environment that has shifting priorities and often hard decisions on a regular basis
